¡Oye tú, cuidado con el asunto de Siria!
Hey you, careful with the issue of Syria!
Reporte de estatus: No ha habido mucho movimiento. No sé nada del “gentleman” de la casa, tampoco del tipo que dizque vendió mi auto. Logré vender un “playstation” para pagar el agua y comprar algo de alimento. Ahora me preocupa el recibo de la luz, el café y los cigarros. Estoy algo desanimado por no tener ni un cinco. No es fácil no caer en depresión por esa razón.
Gente, para los que no lo sabían soy internacionalista; por muchos años me dedique a escribir discursos a políticos y al análisis de la política nacional e internacional. Mis herramientas de trabajo eran los periódicos, los noticieros, la radio, revistas especializadas y los libros. Tengo la adicción a la información. Tan es así que gran parte de mi primer brote psicótico tuvo que ver mucho con tanta información que manejaba en ese sentido.
Esta semana he estado obsesionado con la crisis en Siria y el papel de los EEUU, Rusia y de la comunidad internacional en su conjunto en este dilema del uso de la fuerza y cómo se está desarrollando la toma de la decisión para intervenir o no en Siria. Me la he pasado observando los acontecimientos y escuchando a expertos opinando del tema en la tv, leyendo cualquier cantidad de editoriales, escribiendo y debatiendo sobre el tema en el internet. Y pienso que ya llegó la hora de dosificar la información y tratar de dejar de escribir y debatir sobre el tema de Siria. Hace un par de noches, antes de dormirme, me empezó a pasar por la mente que Obama debería pedirme asesoría. De hecho pensé que había usado algunos de mis análisis para construir su discurso. Eso constituye inequívocamente una alerta amarilla. Así que voy a tratar de ocuparme en otras cosas. Dada mi situación personal, mis problemas económicos, es muy fácil que mi parte maníaca se dispare con el tema de Siria. Por lo que tengo que tener mucho cuidado. Voy a publicar aquí mi posición y voy a tratar de no escribir más al respecto:
“Es hora de que el Consejo de Seguridad de las Naciones Unidas se destrabe y reformen el proceso de toma de decisiones. Que las superpotencias (US, Rusia, China, Europa) dejen de lado sus intereses particulares y que la ONU funcione de verdad como protector de la paz y los DDHH. Y si para proteger los DDHH se necesita usar la fuerza, que se use, pero ya sin hipocresías. Tenemos que marcar un límite. No podemos seguir tolerando lo intolerable. Y si de verdad existen valores universales los ciudadanos concientes de cada nación tienen que exigirles a sus representantes que la prioridad más alta son los DDHH”.

Hey you, careful with the issue of Syria !
Status Report : There hasn’t been a lot of movement . I know nothing about the "gentleman " of the house , neither by the guy who supposedly sold my car. I managed to sell a " playstation " to pay for the water bill and buy some food . Now I’m worry about the electric bill , coffee and cigarettes. I am somewhat discouraged by not having a penny. It is not easy not to fall into depression because of that.
Folks, for those who didn’t know I am an internationalist , for many years I wrote political speeches and made analysis of national and international policies . My working tools were the newspapers, newsreels, radio, specialized magazines and books. I have an addiction to information. So, much of my first psychotic episode had a lot to do with so much information that I handle in that direction.
This week I have been obsessed with the crisis in Syria and the role of the U.S., Russia and the entire international community in this dilemma of the use of force and how it is developing the decision-making process to intervene or not in Syria . I've been watching the events and listening to experts on these issues on tv , reading any number of editorials, writing and debating about it on the internet. And I think the time has come to dose the information and try to stop writing and debating on the issue of Syria. A couple of nights ago when I was going to sleep , a thought began to cross my mind: that Obama should ask me for advice . In fact I thought he had used some of my analysis to build his speech.That is unequivocally a Yellow Alert . So I'll try to put my attention on other things . Given my personal situation , my economic problems , it is easy that the issue of Syria triggers a manic state. So I have to be very careful . I'll post here my position and I will try not to write more about it:
" It is time for the United Nations Security Council to unlock and reform the decision-making process. That the superpowers (US, Rusia, China, Europe) put aside their interests and that the UN actually works as a protector of peace and human rights. And if to protect human rights it’s needed to use force,so be it, but without hypocrisy. We have to draw a line. We can not continue to tolerate the intolerable. And if there really are universal values, the citizens that are aware of each nation must demand that their representatives put as the highest priority the HUMAN RIGHTS."
